Having good production data is crucial for running an efficient factory.
Over 30 years on the shop floor, we’ve seen many data collection and feedback tools including paper Daily Production Charts & clunky cycle time boxes. These tools are a good start, but they’re time consuming and insufficient. We’ve felt the pain of seeing stacks of paper littered with inaccurate and missing data, knowing they needed transcription at the end of a difficult shift. We were left frustrated, as none of these tools could clearly explain the gap in production targets - so we decided to make our own.
Today, Lean Systems is successfully helping companies improve operations by giving them the tools they need to reveal their hidden factory.
